Roof Inspections

A roof examination is typically one of the most challenging areas of a building to evaluate. There are several elements that are usually required for surveyors to undertake an in-depth survey. Apparatus such as Mobile Elevated Work Platforms, or scaffolding are commonly mandatory. Even then it can often prove problematic to reach the perspectives and view points that a drone survey identifies. 

 

The apparatus used, will often come with accompanying time and expenditure. For example, if you are surveying on a public highway, you may need permits and traffic management closures. You then have the subject of working at height which in itself is a considerable risk to both the Surveyor and pedestrians potentially resulting or severe injuries or fatalities.
